Geotech has undertaken a major transformation over the last few years. This has included a change of ownership to USA parent Landtec. Keeping supply chain simple
Following a successful lean programme some years ago, Geotechnical are now working with their supply chain to improve performance standards and deliverables within their supply chain. They have a structured supplier evaluation process which has allowed them to not only reduce costs, but also improve delivery and performance of the companies that they work with. Geotech has deliberately reduced its stock holding and improved the methods of control. Geotech will discuss how they carry out this work and what benefits are being seen.
More products, faster development
With approximately 20 percent of the company focussed on R&D and specifically new product development and introduction, the company is ensuring it remains a market leader. During the visit, Geotech will share with visitors how they identify which projects should be pursued, how they manage new product development and how they ensure that they consider all market opportunities.
